On Friday, I purchased a brand new cell phone to the tune of $300. This is the phone I plan on using for my business. I hope to have email and everything else set up to use over the next few weeks.
Now, I did not have time to really play with it until Monday. So I tried to make a few calls and the static was so bad and the reception was so bad that the phone calls were dropped.
Now, we live in a good area for the phone that I purchased. I looked it up on the web to see if I had been steered wrong. The coverage for our area is really good. I do have some limits here in our area but they are not areas that I would normally be looking for properties at so that should be fine. Not only that but I do have a back up phone for those other areas.
So after a short period, I was so mad that I was prepared to go argue with Target about the Virgin Mobile phone I had purchased there. I called Target and the gal told me to bring it back in. I should state that I called them with the phone that I had purchased there to show what it was like.
I called VM ready to cancel the service since it was so bad. The gal I talked to told me to take it back to Target and to replace the phone since there might be something wrong with it.
So later this morning, I will be going back to Target to exchange the phone and get another one.
You know, maybe I should have realized when I had a hard time activating it on Friday that there was something wrong with the phone.
